The boys were supposed to help me wash the car over the weekend. Supposedly. Truth be told, I have not washed the car for almost all of winter as it has been washed under the rain …. shocking, right? Well, that’s the exterior. The interior of the car desperately needed a good vacuum and good overall clean . Anyway, it all started very well until the boys got distracted. Somehow, they found some snails crawling on some plants and decided that watching the snail was more interesting.
They took the snail onto the ground, sat on the ground and watch it crawl. They were so excited to see the snail moving that they kept calling out to me to go watch with them. Eventually I went. From what I saw, I honestly thought the snail was trying to *escape* from the boys! Poor snail. When I told them that, they said they were protecting the snail from the birds! How interesting. In case you can’t see the snail on the ground, here’s another picture of the boys pointing at the snail … 🙂
In the end, I have to clean the car inside out myself while the boys *protect* the snail. 🙂 What fun.
