It was bedtime …..

Calvin: Goodnight mama!

Me: Goodnight Calvin.

Athan: Goodnight mama!

Me: Goodnight 弟弟！

Athan: 不是！ ä½  要 說 “goodnight Athan”! (no! you have to say “goodnight Athan!”)

Me: Ok, goodnight Athan. (Methinks he wanted me to say goodnight to him in the same way as I said  to his brother)

Athan: Goodnight mama.

Me: Goodnight.

Athan:不 是！你 要 說 “goodnight 弟 弟”! (no! you have to say “goodnight little brother!”)

Me: (Getting really impatient now ….  trying really hard to control myself …. ) ok, goodnight 弟 弟.

Athan: 不 是！

Can you see where this is going? Mr A is not going to stop! And then the father came ….

Robin: 弟 弟, 你 要 不 要 睡? (Athan, are you going to sleep?)

Athan: 要. (yes)

And then there was silence except for …

Calvin: Mama, you are my best mum!

Wow, I did not expect that from Calvin there and then. I felt so loved that night. 🙂
