We have been told to keep praying with our boys because they will learn from our prayers. How true.
At dinner today, Calvin said his own prayer — for the first time. He usually wants me to do the praying. This is his prayer (all in English):
Dear God, thank you for my dinner. Thank you for papa, for didi(athan) and for mama! Amen.
I was so pleasantly surprised to hear Calvin pray. Robin could hear it from his work desk too. He too, was very pleased to hear our boy pray. It’s a very rewarding experience, I must say. Got to keep praying.
