These 3 had a haircut yesterday. Robin literally *begged* me to cut his hair as his hair was getting to an unbearable and annoying state (for him) and he did not want to pay the barber (because he thinks they are over-charging). Well, I have been cutting his hair for the past months, but sad to say, I am still not confident and definitely not good enough by my own standard. Nevertheless, the man said he did not mind and he’d rather I cut his hair. Worst case scenario was to shaved him bald! He was even happy with that!
Calvin had a cut too. Robin and I took turns — he did the clipping while I used the scissors. The boy did not cry or create a drama, but he was restless and kept moving his head. It was diffcult to make a uniform cut and so you could probably see in the picture above, his hair was pretty uneven cut! Anyway, he seemed happy with his lighter head. 🙂
Athan was DIFFICULT. He screamed and screamed and screamed throughout the whole cut. I had to hold his head down very firmly while Robin used the clippers. I guessed all that pressure on his little head did not help. We were prepared for his violent protest and so we just kept quiet and get the job done because no amount of comfort could appease him. I was just afraid that the neighbours thought the boy was in trouble!
